“Meet Charlie and Willow! Charlie is the grey kitty. She’s very quiet and affectionate. Willow is the black one, and she runs the show! Even though Willow can be a bit pushy, both kitties love to run and play together! Afterwards, they cuddle up for a nap.
These sisters were born from the litter of an outdoor cat whose owners do not spay/neuter. Unfortunately, both Charlie and Willow were FIV positive at birth. Two of their three littermates have died of respiratory infections, and last we heard, the third kitten was very ill with the same. Charlie and Willow are living indoors in a second home separate from other cats, but have recently both been suffering from fits of seizures. They are four months old.
This is a reminder to everyone: If you are going to keep outdoor cats, please, please, please don’t forget to spay/neuter! Don’t let this happen to your kitties!
Charlie and Willow are currently undergoing antibacterial treatments and receiving anti-epileptic medications to control and stop their seizures. They are still very active, happy, and otherwise healthy kitties. Please wish the best for them!“
Cats are rather delicate creatures and they are subject to a good many ailments, but I never heard of one who suffered from insomnia.
– Joseph Wood KrutchCats with Heterochromia, a condition where each eye is a different colour.

Complete heterochromia is seen often in animals such as cats and dogs. It almost always involves the affected eye appearing blue in color. It happens in a white spot where melanin is absent – the cat species which seem to be affected are the Turkish Van and Angora. The odd-eyed cats tend to be white or mostly white and with one normal eye and one blue eye – altogether very striking.
